Born in Ranchi in India, as far as I remember, I have always been painting. I started to paint at the age of 3, I used to depict my dreams. I wanted to illustrate what I could hardly describe with words. I used to have a strange sense of abstractism. As a child of course I had no respect for forms and figures because they were an obstruction to my expression that was itself like an unclear image or sensation which I could only feel. Then, I found a deep connection with colours and strange patterns that I could relate. Each time I touched a red or a blue I thought ’Oh yes, it was like that in my dreams.’ In this singular quest of myself I have every time used a new medium : acrylic, oil,watercolor or pastels, like if I was expecting that every would reveal something new to me. Mostly self taught, I’ve also studied art in Paris. Inspired by the old masters and many contemporary artists, my art also reflects my deep dedication for opera that I studied in India and France.

I try to look at life and nature as closely as possible with very sensitive approach. My art for me is a reflection of my approach towards life, nature and my sene of meaning of life. Every fleeting moment the thoughts and feelings vary . I strive to capture that fleeting moment of emotion, thoughtfulness a quest and an investigation into that very moment.
