My work, The Eye Of The Lamb, is composed of many different mediums and elements to form an otherworldly dimension, on canvas. Using acrylic, watercolour pencil, and mixed media collaging this work will take you through the front door into my psyche. To me, to dream is to see beyond reality. To dream is to let everything that doesn't make sense melt away, and to commit to an idea with passion and open-mindedness. Opening the minds of everyone who sees my art, is my objective, it’s my dream. And I find in that, there is this interconnectedness to our fears and our dreams, like a snake eating itself. Despite all of the contrasting pastel colours and thriving plant life, there is a constant flow of objects and ideas to disrupt the peace. There is everything and nothing in this painting, and to me that is what dreaming means. Here we see the lamb, of which to me represents innocence, ignorance and bliss. The lamb has a new eye, and can see beyond all of the colours and flowers, accepting this dimension for all of its weirdness, for everything we do and don’t understand.
