À PROPOS DE L’ARTISTE
Gérard Roy poursuit sa démarche artistique depuis plusieurs années.
Peintre grandement autodidacte, il est animé par le besoin d’exprimer le monde qui l’habite. Son inspiration vient de ce qui nous entoure. Son point de départ, une étincelle, un coup de foudre qui frappe son imagination.

Artistic approach


Ma peinture tend à donner forme à la matière et à créer un espace générant à la fois une impression d’ordre et de lumière. 
Pour moi, un tableau est le résultat d’accumulations de sensations inscrites dans ma mémoire, digérées par le temps et   transformées par l’imagination.
