Biography

I have been painting most of my life but in the past 20 years I have sought to share my love of nature through art. We raised our family in a small mountain town in southeastern BC and spent our family times hiking camping and skiing. I was an RN before I retired and plain air painting was a joyous getaway and a healing experience. 


Artistic approach

I seek to share the natural beauty of our earth but enhanced to the incredible flow of color and light in all things. I enjoy painting on wood because the flow of the grains inspires me - water, snow, trees, flowers, mountains, air - everything moves
