Biography

Fine art photographer and documentary filmmaker. Specialising in black and white photography much of which is shot on film. Began photographing at the age of 12 and now been behind the camera for over 50 years. I photographed most of the 1960s rock legends  which form my rock legends collection. Artistic approach

I love monochrome photography. I began my career shooting with a Speed Graphic 5x4 glass plate camera and a Rolleiflex medium format film camera in the 1960s. I still use these cameras alongside my Canon digital. I believe black and white photographs are far more dramatic than colour.
