Biography

I grew up in the Annex neighborhood  in Toronto Ontario and have spent many years travelling and spending time in North Ontario, especially around the French River area.  I lived in rural Newfoundland for five years and and expanded my painting techniques..  I have paintings displayed both in private and public collections.

Artistic approach

My influences early on were Zoltan Sabo, Gord Peters who taught my  father, Ron Vickers. Later on I have studied Edward Sterling techniques. Painting is my way to put forth feelings and ideas and to let me create and express visual thoughts on to  paper.
I use the creation of light and shadows; blending of colours from the bottom of the rainbow to the other side of the horizon to achieve the final result.
