Biography

 
SB was born and raised in Jamaica, later adopted & immigrated to Canada where she spends most of her time in MTL. She graduated with a degree in Studio Arts from Dawson College in 2020 & became a full time artist in 2022. She is a visual artist that focuses on charcoal drawings with an interest in creating forms within the human anatomy that explores issues that reflect social and cultural identity.  
 

Artistic approach

She focus on technique rather than having a style which allows her work to be multi-passionate in different genres but still staying super clear on what  the artwork is about; empowering women, energy reproduction and the emotions we share as humans. Her goal is to promote new energy, self love, nostalgia, and freedom. She aims to evoke positive emotions and self reflection that challenge or change one's perspective.
