Alan is a Toronto painter, photographer and architect. His artwork captures prime moments of  landscapes referencing; colour, memories and representations of objects, all grounded by a sky, horizon and water/land. There are occasional topical detours. Covid 19 has presented new opportunities to explore digital artwork having a wider scope of subject matter.

Artistic approach

I paint with either brushes or pallet knives. I favour Payne's Gray and fuschia. As a break from my beloved landscape noted above, I pursue other topics or themes focusing on objects of interest or desire these include, urban and rural shards, night exposures, digitally retouched photographs, (figurative, landscape, abstract), icebergs, maple leaf, floral, significant world events, architectural fragments.
