Biography

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Andrea Lambert is a Toronto based artist working mainly as a painter.  She attended York University where she received her Bachelors of Fine Arts degree and also graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in Education, specializing in the Visual Arts.  She was awarded the first place winner in painting at the annual Latin-American exhibition in Toronto in 2006. Artistic approach

Andrea has worked in a variety of media including printmaking, painting and photography.  Her media of choice is acrylic on canvas.  Her earlier body of work comprised a series of expressionistic images based on childhood memories and the search for identity.
