Biography

Born and raised in Bogota – Colombia and become to Canadian citizen in 2007. The love for art and drawing was discovered at a very early age. Artiz attended National University of Colombia to take his first steps in art techniques and drawing at the Faculty of Art, where his early work was created. Artistic approach

In my work I have addressed a variety of topics such as the human figure, the vulnerability of animals and, more recently, the close interaction between the nature of the human being and his soul. I wish to bring the inner spirit of the observer to the world around him, as well as to serve as a platform for the construction of relationships between the everyday world and the spheres of thought, feeling and will.
