Born and raised in Poland where she studied Commercial Art and Christian Art. In 1987, Beata became political refugee - escaping with her young family from the regime of Communism. Canada became her second home. 

She earned Bachelor of Fine Art, Studio Art from the University of Colorado (Magna Cum Laude), and Bachelor of Education from York University. 

Beata is a founder of ArtVeritas Visual Art Studio presently located in Niagara region, and Veritatis Splendor Educational Movement with the focus on Education, Family and Society. 

She is an active artist, educator but - most importantly - wife, mother and grandmother. 

In addition, Beata is dance and fitness instructor and offers her dynamic classes based on Latin, African, pop and other rhythms at Niagara's community center. 

 

The light in my work speaks about spiritual aspects of our existence and about divine and mysterious Presence of God. The textured and organic emergence of the surfaces relates to our earthly physicality and symbolizes our human struggle with life circumstances and with ourselves. The light penetrates through the texture and offers transformation, a sense of peace and belonging. It reminds us of our true destination. These symbolic images refer to my own spiritual, emotional and physical journey through life.

Both the light and texture in my work are developed through the complex, layered and mixed-media processes which I have experimented with and learned over the years of my artistic activity. I wanted to achieve relief-like appearances to emphasize depth and dimension and to express complexity of the interior.
