Cette série fut inspirée par la destruction de plusieurs monuments montréalais et le renouveau auquel elle donne suite. Alors que l’ancien bâtiment de l'Hôpital pour Enfants s'écroulait, je pensais surtout au magnifique nouvel établissement de pointe déjà en place pour mieux servir nos enfants. L'ancien Hippodrome Blue Bonnets cèdera sa place à un nouveau quartier résidentiel et une communauté revivifiée. L'échangeur Turcot qui s’émiette sera remplacé par un réseau permettant des échanges urbains plus pratiques et fonctionnels. Un nouveau et majestueux pont Champlain s’élèvera, invitant une nouvelle ère de collaboration et communication. Vivre dans une ville en pleine déconstruction, voilà une occasion unique de se reconstruire ensemble. --------------------------- This current series is inspired by watching the demolition of Montreal landmarks and recognizing that with this destruction come new beginnings. As the old Montreal Children's Hospital building came crashing down, I couldn't help but think of the beautiful and state-of-the-art facilities that are already in place to better serve our children. The old Blue Bonnets racetrack will now make way for new housing and a renewed community. The crumbling Turcot Interchange will be replaced by a more functional and practical way for us to connect within the city. A new Champlain bridge will rise majestically, reaching out into a new era of commuting and communication. Living in a city being broken down and built anew, here is a unique opportunity to rise up.
