Biography

Dan Coward is a self-taught artist based out of Montreal. Born into a family of painters, his passion for drawing evolved into his foundation as a graffiti artist and an eventual pursuit into the fine art world.

Artistic approach

 My approach is somewhat classical while also drawing inspiration from my experience with modern mediums such as graffiti and graphic design. I have a very meticulous approach to each subject and always strive to express the beauty of anything I paint in my own unique manner.

Expressive brush strokes, and a strong attention to colour theory  are pillars of my work that I try to display in every work.
