Denis Doucet Dego is a multidisciplinary artist interested in all forms of art. He started his career as a cartoonist, comic artist and illustrator for newspapers, books and other publications. He has been working in the field of animation for the past thirty years on international projects.

Born in Quebec, Denis Doucet Dego grew up in the Saguenay Lac St-Jean region, where he was inspired from an early age by breathtaking landscapes and magnificent light. Amazed by this light and the shadows it casts, he drew constantly and began painting at the age of fifteen while training with world renowned artists.

Denis Doucet Dego est un artiste multidisciplinaire qui s'intéresse à toutes les formes d'art. Il a commencé sa carrière en tant que caricaturiste, dessinateur et illustrateur pour des journaux, des livres et d'autres publications. Depuis trente ans, il travaille dans le domaine du cinéma d'animation sur des projets internationaux.

Né au Québec, Denis Doucet Dego a grandi dans la région du Saguenay Lac St-Jean, où il a été inspiré dès son plus jeune âge par des paysages à couper le souffle et une lumière magnifique. Émerveillé par cette lumière et les ombres qu'elle projette, il dessine constamment et commence à peindre à l'âge de quinze ans tout en se formant auprès d'artistes de renommée internationale.

As a passionate painter, I use several mediums such as oil, acrylic, watercolor, wood pencil, ink and for the last twenty years, I also use digital technologies to create my works. I started with the study of realism and have continued to observe and explore new styles throughout my career.

Influenced and fascinated by the world and its multifaceted natural beauty. My works are the result of a planned and intuitive research. Light and color are at the heart of my work, my search for splendor and harmony.

Artiste-peintre passionné, j'emploie plusieurs médiums comme l'huile, l'acrylique, l'aquarelle, les crayons de bois, l'encre et depuis une vingtaine d'années, j'utilise aussi les technologies numériques pour créer mes œuvres . J'ai fait mes débuts avec l'étude du réalisme, j'ai poursuivi mes observations et l'exploration de nouveaux styles tout au long de ma carrière.

Influencé et fasciné par le monde et sa beauté naturelle aux multiples visages. Mes œuvres sont le résultat d'une recherche planifiée et intuitive. La lumière et les couleurs sont au cœur de mon travail, de mes recherches de splendeur et d'harmonie.
