Biography

Innah is a Montréal based artist who primarily uses acrylic on canvas. She started extra-curricular art lessons at the age of 9, eventually graduating from Dawson College and Concordia University, earning a BFA with distinction. She has recently rediscovered her passion for creating vast spaces inspired by surrealism, nature, technology and history with vibrant colours. She also enjoys singing, playing guitar and knitting.

Artistic approach

For me creating 2D art is like traveling to times and places not yet discovered. I love dream-like surrealism. I’m also inspired by outer space and vast spaces in general like landscapes and deserts. I like to mix together the above with technology from the Victorian age to the present. Lately I’ve been stretching my skills to include figures as well.
