I’m a passionate Artist from Gatineau Quebec.
My road to painting began when I severely injured my back and was laid out of commission for 10 months! I had to do something, about midway in I felt this strong urge to get some canvas paper, paint and brushes and since my miraculous healing 12 years ago I never looked away from this expression in art.

Always challenging myself with opportunities and ideas to paint. I work mostly with oil on canvas and use a pallet knife, sometimes a brush or two.

My art journey began studying works by Van Gogh, Monet, Pollock. I have had the privilege of being a student of Nathalie Freniere and Yves Ayotte.

My first ’Deconfinement’ Juried Art Exhibit in 2020 was at Da Artisti in Cumberland Ont.

I love to evoke, create or express that mood in myself and the viewer. Most times I use prayer and an imaginative approach to my art and let the subconscious work with the paint and canvas, mostly without the aid of a picture or subject.  I find this approach most freeing.

That feeling when something grabs you, either by light, darkness, things uncertain, in between and providence. I like to seize an emotion or energy and attack the canvas, either gently or intense depending on what needs to be set free. Raw transparent communication is the goal.
