Born in Kirkland Lake Ontario, Kristan is a citizen of the North having lived and traveled all over Northern Ontario and in Toronto as her family has always had something to do with the mines in nearly every trade. Artistic approach

Kristan prefers to paint outside and where and when the inspiration strikes, choosing bold, vivid colours to catch everything from a setting (or rising) sun on the waves of one of the Great Lakes to clouds and the reflections of trees and grass in the water.
