I began my artistic journey under the guidance of Belarusian artist Hanna Karaleva, a former instructor at the Belarusian State Academy of Arts. Her mentorship grounded me in classical technique and a deep appreciation for expressive realism. I continued my studies at OCAD University and the Academy of Realist Art in Toronto, where I refined my skills in traditional oil painting and academic drawing. My work is inspired by the quiet elegance of ballet, the layered richness of fine art, and the pursuit of honesty through realism. Now based in Toronto, I continue to explore the poetic tension between movement and stillness, light and form. 

 My work in oil is inspired by the quiet discipline of ballet and the timeless depth of classical art. I paint to hold still the fleeting - a gesture, a glance, the weight of a moment suspended in light. Realism is my language, not for perfection, but for presence - to honor what is felt as much as what is seen. Each brushstroke is a step, deliberate and searching, shaped by movement and memory. Through layers of oil, I try to listen more than I tell - to reveal grace where it hides in the ordinary.
