Hummingbird heralds the return of summer to Canada and North America. These powerful little birds are seen as the bringer of the light by many North American cultures and as the transformer heralding an abundance of food and warmth after the long cold winter. I was called to present the essence of hummingbird using mixed media as it offered freedom of style, highlighting the sense movement with the bold lines outlining the shape of the bird. Hummingbird medicine is very powerful and you are very lucky if one of these beings chooses to be your spirit guide.
