Biography

Mary Steeves was born near Chicago Illinois.  She immigrated to Canada in 1986 and now lives in Fredericton, NB. where she moved in 2019.  Most recently, she has found joy in watercolour painting but also enjoys working in pencil and ink. Mary also makes small sculptures and mosaics using discarded and broken objects. She earned her BFA degree in 1983 from Calvin University in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
