Né dans la banlieue de Toronto, en Ontario, comme beaucoup de jeunes Canadiens, Michael Wills a grandi avec un bâton de hockey dans les mains. Pendant plus de 20 ans, Michael a consacré sa passion et son énergie à jouer au hockey professionnel, mais il était loin de se douter qu'une compétence entièrement différente allait devenir un élément moteur de sa vie. Bientôt, la crosse de hockey serait remplacée par le pinceau d'un artiste. 

Chaque œuvre créée par Michael est le produit d'une intense libération d'énergie émotionnelle. Sa passion et sa créativité s'expriment dans un kaléidoscope de couleurs qu'il fait glisser sur chaque toile à l'aide d'un couteau à palette, ce qui donne à son travail un aspect brut et énergique, que beaucoup qualifient de style "masculin". L'inspiration de Michael vient de l'énergie et du mouvement de la ville, qui, selon lui, est mieux capturée par les lumières de la ville.

Michael était représenté par Zenith Art and Fashion à Miami, en Floride, et ses œuvres ont été présentées lors de la Miami Art Week et de la Miami Art Basel. Les peintures de Michael ont également été exposées à la UP Country Interior Design House et au Spoke Club de Toronto. 

En 2020, avec un groupe d'artistes triés sur le volet, Michael a représenté le Canada au salon ArtCapital à Paris et à l'exposition internationale d'art de Pingyao.  

Le talent de Michael, sa passion pour l'art et sa volonté d'affiner ses compétences artistiques lui ont valu d'être reconnu et d'avoir un public impressionnant en Amérique du Nord, en Europe et en Asie.  

Born just outside of Toronto, Ontario, like many young Canadians, Michael Wills grew up with a hockey stick in his hands. For over 20 years, Michael put his passion and energy into playing pro hockey but little did he know, an entirely different skill would become a driving force in his life. Soon, the hockey stick would be replaced with an artist's brush. 

Every piece that Michael creates is the product of an intense release of emotional energy. His passion and creativity are expressed in a kaleidoscope of colors as he glides across each canvas with a pallet knife, giving his work a rough, energetic feel, that many have referred to as “masculine” in style. Michael's inspiration comes from the energy and movement of the city, which he feels is best captured in the city lights.

Michael was represented by Zenith Art and Fashion in Miami, Florida, with his work featured during the Miami Art Week and the Miami Art Basel. Michael also had his paintings showcased in the UP Country Interior Design House and the Spoke Club in Toronto. 

In 2020, along with a select group of artists, Michael represented Canada at the ArtCapital salon in Paris and the Pingyao International Art Exhibition.  

Michael’s talent, passion for art, and dedication to honing artistic skills have earned him recognition and an impressive following all across North America, Europe, and Asia.
