En grandissant en Ukraine, j'ai toujours eu en moi ce lien profond avec l'art. N'ayant pas pu suivre l'éducation à laquelle j'aspirais étant enfant, j'ai fini par suivre un parcours professionnel différent. Je suis devenu un concepteur UI/UX après avoir déménagé au Canada, il y a deux décennies. Après avoir lutté contre la dépression, j'ai décidé d'utiliser ma première passion dans le cadre de mon plan de match pour me maintenir en bonne santé et heureux. J'ai donc lentement commencé à peindre, à m'améliorer et à chercher ma propre voix artistique. Puis, le COVID 19 est arrivé et je me suis promis de faire au moins une nouvelle peinture chaque mois. J'ai également suivi des cours pour apprendre de nouvelles techniques et de nouveaux médiums. En 2020, j'ai créé quelques pièces sur le thème "My Happy Place".  J'expérimente actuellement les peintures à l'huile et acryliques, la pâte à modeler, la résine époxy et les techniques mixtes.

Growing up in Ukraine, I have always had in me this deep connection with art. Not being able to follow the education I aspired as a kid, I ended up following a different career path. I became a UI/UX designer after moving to Canada, two decades ago. After battling depression, I’ve decided to use my earlier passion as part of my game plan to keep myself healthy and happy. So, I slowly started painting, improving, and looking for my own artistic voice. Then, COVID 19 came along and I promised myself to do at least one new painting every month. I also sought some courses to learn new techniques and mediums. In 2020 I’ve created a few pieces themed “My Happy Place”.  I am currently experimenting with oil and acrylic paints, modelling paste, epoxy resin, and mixed media.
