Biography

Sara Dankha is an Iraqi- Assyrian- Canadian artist. she is based in Toronto, Canada. Sara has been making art ever since she was a child. Sara has been honing her skills in abstract painting for the past several years. Sara is a student at OCAD University and a Humber college Alumni. She works with all mediums like: ink, watercolor, acrylic, oil, graphite, and colored pencils.

Artistic approach

My work usually comes from dreams or whatever mood I'm in, sometimes it political and sometimes it not. I like working in mixed media because it gives me the opportunity to utilize my skills. I like to make abstract paintings because I don't have to focus on the concept, I just let my subconscious  work as I paint.
