Shaune Thompson is a self-taught photographer born and raised in Montreal. Throughout her 35 years in the print and graphic design industry, photography was an additional skill she acquired to complete many projects. Today her true inspiration is cityscape and landscape photography.

Artistic approach

Early morning or the golden hour are my preferred shooting conditions. The light and shadows at these specific times of day enhance the subject making each scene unique, immortalizing the image and telling its own story.

I often uses different techniques such as HDR. This process creates a surreal effect giving a magical quality to the final photograph. These images have an even greater impact when printed on metal or mounted to acrylic.
