Biography

Over the past 20+ years, Sheila Romard has been developing her contemporary impressionistic style in both watercolour and oil. Sheila raised her family in Newmarket Ontario, spent 4 years in Brighton ON, and is now living in Barrie. 
Sheila’s work has been exhibited in galleries throughout Southern Ontario and has received several awards for her art. You can also see Sheila's work published in Artist Talk magazine 2021.

Artistic approach

My name is Sheila Romard and my art is inspired by the beauty in the world around me, including my own backyard (or kitchen). I enjoying experimenting with my techniques, using a variety of styles including impressionism, abstract and expressionism.  I hope you enjoy visiting my collection!
