Biography

Sue was born out west in Calgary, Alberta and resides in Thunder Bay in beautiful northern Ontario.  She is an active artist and believes that creativity is the magic ingredient in life.
A life long interest in art began with drawing and watercolour  but  over the past thirty years she has enjoyed the variety of experimenting with new and different mediums.Among them are  work in acrylic, collage, mixed media and encaustic (hot wax)

Artistic approach

I have been painting for many years and have used a great number of mediums but through these vehicles I have always strived to  have a depth of color, texture and energy running through each piece. I love nature and much of my work reflects this passion. Having recently moved to northern Ontario and am excited to depict the incredibly beautiful natural landscapes of this region.
