Biography

I was born and raised in Ottawa, and spent my childhood surrounded by music and art. My grandmother was a gifted artist who spent many hours painting with me. Eventually I shifted away from visual arts and my creativity found its outlet in music.

Artistic approach

There is an endless supply of disquieting media and information available already; I offer an alternative. The intent of my work is to create in the viewer a feeling of stillness and silence. My pieces are composed and executed slowly, calmly, intuitively. Working with oil paints is a joy, and I find myself learning something everytime I sit down with them.
