Biography

Tanya Hughes was born and raised in Red Deer, Alberta.  She started painting and drawing when she was a small child and continued on throughout her life.  Tanya is mainly self taught with one college degree.  She mostly enjoys working with acrylics and referencing from photographs she captures in her home province.

Artistic approach

I strive to reach a point with my art where the viewer is pulled in and lost in thought provoked by my piece of art.
