Hello! I’m Charlotte McPherson, I have a Scottish and Ukrainian background, and I am based in Ontario, Canada. I’ve been practicing art and finding new ways to create since the day I was born. I grew up as a gifted child, and though I found education in the early years quite easy, my priority has always been to learn to express, to paint and create beautiful things. It became a priority of mine and now I plan to go into art education, so I can continue to inspire the youth to pursue what they’re passionate about, and help young artists bloom.

To me, art is a way to bring everything inside of me outward. It’s not only expression, it’s a release. Using a range of mediums, my preferences being oil, acrylic and mixed media. Artistically, my goal is to have my art resonate inside anyone, and everyone. I choose to exhibit specific aspects of where emotion derives from, and what drives us to be human. Philosophy, to me, is just as important as art. Philosophy pushes the boundaries of our universe, while at the same time remains alive and burning in the finite human brain.
